FA200-SP SERIES
Cost-efficient training system for dynamic target transitions
The FA200-SP series is designed for demanding training sequences on suitable shooting ranges. It combines five self-healing X-200 plastic targets with a robust frame and matching connection components.
With FA200-SP, the targets fall after being hit and can then be returned to the starting position via a central mechanical reset lever. FA200-SP1 is offered without this reset mechanism.
This makes the system suitable for smooth training sequences, target transitions and falling-plate-oriented exercises where an economical alternative to traditional steel falling plate systems is required.

BDS AND RANGE APPROVAL
BDS-compliant configuration
The system has been built according to the requirements of the relevant BDS sport disciplines and is suitable for training on many approved shooting ranges.
Because the projectiles pass through the plastic targets and are captured by the existing bullet trap, the system can be used on many existing shooting ranges without additional official approval, provided that the existing range approval and applicable legal requirements allow this.
Note: The operator is responsible for checking the respective range approval and approving the specific installation.
VARIANTS
FA200-SP and FA200-SP1
Both variants use five X-200 plastic targets. The difference is the reset mechanism.
With mechanical reset system
Version with central reset mechanism for quickly returning all targets after a sequence.
Without mechanical reset system
Version without central reset mechanism when a simpler system variant is required.
MATERIAL AND MAINTENANCE
Self-healing plastic targets for repeated use
The X-200 plastic targets are made from a heavy-duty, self-healing material. Projectile channels close again to a considerable extent, supporting long service life and low maintenance effort.
The material is designed for repeated use. Visual and functional inspection of the complete system remains necessary before every use.
TECHNICAL OPERATING CONDITIONS
Requirements for use
The falling plate system may only be used as intended and in compliance with the applicable shooting range approval as well as all safety and firearms regulations.
Approved use
- factory ammunition with full metal jacket bullets (FMJ) only
- handgun calibers from .22 lfb to .45 ACP
- long guns firing handgun ammunition (Pistol Caliber Carbine, PCC)
- .223 Rem. according to confirmed configuration
- minimum shooting distance 2 m
Not permitted
- shotguns and shotgun ammunition
- soft-point, hollow-point, hard-core, steel-core or armor-piercing bullets
- tracer, incendiary or explosive ammunition
- self-loaded, reloaded or non-standard ammunition
- with .22 lfb sport pistol at 25 m, projectiles may remain stuck in the target material; this combination is not approved
Operation and inspection
- use only on a suitable, legally operated shooting range with suitable bullet trap and operator approval
- visual and functional inspection of the complete system before every use
- do not use damaged, loosened or unstable systems
- operate the reset system only when the firing line is secured
- avoid pinch and shear points on the mechanism
- the configuration confirmed in the quotation is decisive
Due to the wooden support frame, the use of shotguns is not suitable and is therefore expressly excluded.
