ORIGIN & MATERIAL
A special plastic for repeated impact loads
This special plastic target was originally developed in the 1990s by a Chinese materials scientist for naval training use in water training.*
The resulting material is used for durable training targets with high resistance to repeated impact, no rust protection coating and low maintenance requirements.
Visual inspection and cleaning before or after use support long-term operation.
USE ON SHOOTING RANGES
An alternative for practice-oriented training
Many shooting ranges are not approved for conventional steel falling-plate systems, yet still need realistic and varied training formats.
Falling-plate-like drills
The round discs can be used freestanding or mounted on self-made timber slats with a small hinge fixture.
Flexible setups
Depending on range, operator rules and training objective, single targets or multi-target setups can be planned with suitable bases and connectors.
Case-by-case coordination
Suitable calibres, distances, mounting and safety requirements are coordinated for the specific application with the operator.
PRACTICAL TEST
500 rounds on a 15 cm target disc
The targets were tested under different conditions. In one test, around 500 rounds of 9 mm ammunition were fired onto an area of approximately 15 cm diameter without structural damage to the disc.*
The specific service life depends on calibre, distance, hit distribution, mounting, range conditions and regular inspection.
SIZES & CUSTOM SOLUTIONS
Standard models and individual versions
Standard round discs are available in 80, 100, 150 and 200 mm, with X models in 100, 150 and 200 mm. The current 200 mm version is specified with 15 mm material thickness.
Individual formats
Plastic discs can be manufactured up to a maximum size of 800 × 400 mm on request.* Material thickness is adapted to size and planned use.
Bases and mechanism
The bases are made from the same high-grade plastic material as the discs and are usually manufactured in black.
Custom versions
Specific contours, silhouettes, mounting variants, colour requirements and project-specific configurations are possible on request.

Operator assessment remains required
Selection, installation and use must comply with applicable regulations, operator rules and safety requirements. Before use, suitability for the specific purpose must be assessed by the responsible operator.
Inspect before each use
Target body, base, mounting points and securing components must be checked before use.
Replace damaged parts
Cracks, breakouts, permanent deformation, sharp edges or loose fasteners are exclusion criteria.
Coordinate configuration
Calibre, distance, range approval, mounting and safety areas must fit the specific application.
